Throughout her twenty-year career as a gallery owner (at Galleria Forni and Barbara Frigerio Contemporary Art) and art advisor, Barbara Frigerio has always selected and promoted contemporary works and artists, keeping in mind the concept of beauty. She offers the public a wide range of internationally renowned artists and interesting emerging talents, favoring works that highlight the work and craftsmanship behind a painting, sculpture, or photograph.

From organizing exhibitions in public and private galleries and museums in Italy and abroad, she has felt the need to bring art to other spaces, far from traditional circuits, even holding exhibitions in hotels. We recall the exhibition “Elegance in Nature” held at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi in September 2015.

Her proximity to the world of luxury, also understood as the idea of ​​art to be experienced and contemplated “inside the home” or on a boat, led her to work with interior designers (Samuele Mazza, Paolo Garancini of Archiade, Sergio Buttiglieri of the San Lorenzo Yachts Style Office) on site-specific residential and commercial projects in Italy and abroad.

This also led to collaborations with leading Italian furniture manufacturers (Rivolta, Arketipo, Fendi Casa, and Luxury Living Group), with whom she participated in numerous editions of the Salone del Mobile.

In recent years, thanks to her role as Head of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Gigarte Auction House, she has enriched her agenda and broadened the scope of her work, including the great masters of the twentieth century among the artists presented.
