Ferrari's paintings hark back to the technical and aesthetic perfection of the old masters, enriched by a more contemporary vision that, however, does not forgo the expressiveness and voice of emotion and sentiment in the name of technique. His poppies, amaryllises, and calla lilies are depicted in all their fragile and seductive physicality: bewitching and bold, they seem to release their penetrating scents into the air.
