L’animale costituisce un soggetto ampiamente utilizzato dagli artisti: la valenze simboliche riconosciute agli animali sono contrassegnate da fissità che li rendono stabili all’interno della dialettica narrativa
attivata dai pittori. Valentino Camiletti si pone con equilibrio e grazia tra gli artisti che hanno scelto il selvatico come esponente principale della loro opera creativa. (…) Avvalendosi di una vivacissima scala cromatica, il pittore riesce a creare figure sempre suggestive,
lasciando al colore il dominio sul disegno, che così si smarca da rigorismi e luoghi comuni. Il risultato è sempre colmo di fascino, perché, innegabilmente, gli animali di Camiletti sono limpidi, veri, evocativi. The animal is a subject widely used by artists: the symbolic values recognized to animals are marked by fixities that make them stable within the narrative dialectic activated by the painters. Valentino Camiletti stands with balance and grace among the artists who have chosen the wild as the main exponent of their creative work. (…)
Making use of a very lively chromatic scale, the painter manages to create always suggestive figures, leaving the dominion over the drawing to color, which thus frees himself from rigorism and clichés. The result is always full of charm, because, undeniably, Camiletti’s animals are clear, true, evocative. (…) The painter does not try to amaze, but limits himself to leaving nature the task of surprising us, since she is the true protagonist of his research.

Biografia
Valentino Camiletti ama dipingere gli animali nel loro ambiente da sempre e la sua conoscenza scientifica della fauna e della flora la deve molto al suo passato di illustratore per riviste del settore.
Ha illustrato per “Reserve Naturelle” e per la C.E.B.O. che nelle Fiandre corrispondono alla nostra L.I.P.U. e per il W.W.F. Nel 2001 le sue illustrazioni di animali alpini vengono inserite nel libro “SUI SENTIERI DEL RE” che lui stesso scrive per l’editore PRIULI E VERLUCA e da quel momento inizia tutta una serie di collaborazioni ad altri libri naturalistici che si alternano alla pittura.
Valentino Camiletti has always loved to paint animals in their environment and his scientific knowledge of fauna and flora owes a lot to his past as an illustrator for magazines .
He illustrated for “Reserve Naturelle” and for the C.E.B.O. which in Flanders correspond to Italian L.I.P.U. and for the W.W.F. In 2001 his illustrations of alpine animals were included in the book “SUI SENTIERI DEL RE” which he himself wrote for the publisher PRIULI E VERLUCA and from that moment he began a whole series of collaborations with other naturalistic books that alternate with painting.
