Alberto Andreis was born in Brescia Italy in 1959 and now lives and works in Parma. His atmospheric works of art pertaining to the metaphysical are distinctly figurative.
Andreis graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti of Brera and Milan. From 1983 to 1989 he assisted the designer Ezio Frigerio in a project for scenes of the film Cirano De Bergerac by JP Rappeneau which was Oscar nominated in 1990 for costumes and scenery.
As a painter Alberto Andreis has been invited to participate in numerous exhibitions including Ultime Generazioni at the XII Quadriennale de Arte in Rome in 1996, the Surrealismo Padano da De Chirico a Foppiani in 2002 and Arte Italiana 1968 – 2007 at the Palazzo Real in Milan in 2007.
Alberto Andreis has further exhibited at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Santa Giulia in Brescia.
